British troops raid Iraqi police HQ
More than 1,000 UK troops have stormed the headquarters of an Iraqi police unit to rescue 127 prisoners, dozens of whom they had feared would be killed. [Last time British troops broke into a prison in this region to release terrorists who had been arrested by Iraqi police, the "terrorists" turned out to be British special forces wearing Arab clothing.]
