Khalid Shaikh Mohammed's alleged confession testimony has been thoroughly discredited after it emerged that one of the targets he identified, the Plaza Bank, was not founded until 2006, four years after the alleged Al-Qaeda mastermind's arrest.
The government, green lobby groups, and most of the media, claim that there is consensus amongst scientists that global warming is a proven scientific fact and that mankind is responsible. This is absolutely untrue. There are a huge number of scientists that dispute the claim, and a plethora of scientific evidence against it. The government is grossly dishonest to claim otherwise.

Field McConnell, a pilot for Northwest Airlines, has filed a lawsuit charging that many commercial airliners are rigged with explosives that can be remotely detonated. He refuses to fly until such devices are removed. McConnell's claim is seemingly given credence by none other than Boeing's vice-president, who tacitly admitted the fact in a speech last year.
Democrats were immediately suspicious that he will, the White House was careful not to rule it out, and Intrade, an online prediction exchange on issues from politics to weather, opened a futures market on whether it would happen. "President Bush should now pledge that he will not pardon Scooter Libby," scolded Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Edward Kennedy (news, bio, voting record) shortly after Libby was convicted on Tuesday of obstructing justice and lying to investigators.
He faces a maximum of 25 years in prison.
A federal jury today convicted I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby of lying about his role in the leak of an undercover CIA officer's identity, finding the vice president's former chief of staff guilty of two counts of perjury, one count of making false statements and one count of obstruction of justice, while acquitting him of a single count of lying to the FBI.
The verdict, reached by the 11 jurors on the 10th day of deliberations, culminated the seven-week trial of the highest-ranking White House official to be indicted on criminal charges in modern times.

The "Hereinafter" part at the end of Kristin Breitweiser's new book, WAKE-UP CALL, reads like a beautiful poem to her deceased husband who was killed on 9/11. One can sense the deep love they had for each other.
The primary thesis of this excellent book, though, is exemplified by a key element for which she was searching in the 9/11 Commission report. She found it in "Footnote 44," but more on that in a moment.
There is information found in this book which the press has not publicized. For example, she recounts a visit to Henry Kissinger shortly after he was named to head the 9/11 Commission. She and the rest of her "motley group of 9/11 victims" cross-examined Kissinger about his clients. When they asked if any were of the bin Laden family, he became "unsteady," spilled his cup of coffee, and "nearly fell off the couch." He resigned the next day.

The BBC's Conspiracy Files documentary hit piece and their flustered attempts to adopt damage control over questions about why their correspondent reported the collapse of Building 7 before it happened, have only provoked a firestorm of new interest in 9/11 truth and exalted questions surrounding WTC 7 to the point where it is now the Achilles' heel of the official conspiracy theory.
CHILDREN aged 11 to 16 are to have their fingerprints taken and stored on a secret database, internal Whitehall documents reveal.
The leaked Home Office plans show that the mass fingerprinting will start in 2010, with a batch of 295,000 youngsters who apply for passports.
The Home Office expects 545,000 children aged 11 and over to have their prints taken in 2011, with the figure settling at an annual 495,000 from 2014. Their fingerprints will be held on a database also used by the Immigration and Nationality Directorate to store the fingerprints of hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers.
The plans are outlined in a series of "restricted" documents circulating among officials in the Identity and Passport Service. They form part of the programme for the introduction of new biometric passports and ID cards.
The injunction was obtained on Friday night at a hearing which lasted about two hours at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
Lord Goldsmith's office said he had acted "completely independently of government" on the matter.
The BBC said its reporting of the story was a matter of public interest.

Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed won a ruling overturning deputy royal coroner Baroness Butler-Sloss's decision that she would sit alone. Three senior judges said the inquests should be heard by a jury, a decision Mr Al Fayed said was a "good victory". The princess and Dodi died in 1997 in a road crash in Paris. Their inquests are scheduled to start in May.

If there was any remaining doubt that the BBC reported the collapse of Building 7 over 20 minutes before it fell then it has now evaporated with the discovery of footage from the BBC's News 24 channel that shows the time stamp at 21:54 (4:54PM EST) when news of the Salomon Brothers Building is first broadcast, a full 26 minutes in advance of its collapse.
